This was my first visit on Vanity Spa Salon. When I walked in I noticed first how beautiful the setting was. It is very pleasing to the eyes and the music very soft to the ears. The front desk area has a medium size table that displayed coffee, water, candy chocolates, and a large assortment of coffees and teas. The entire salon was exceptionally clean with pleasant aroma throughout. The decor is one of real class. Each service (manicure, pedicure, wash basin, massages, facials etc) is in a small intimate and very relaxing room with low lighting and or candles.
I was skeptical going in since I had bought a groupon for $39. It sounded like a deal that seemed too good to be true: wash, cut, blow-dry with color touch-up, eyebrow shaping, and head, neck and upper back massage while in the rinse chair. It was all true!
Karen was my master colorist/stylist. She truly is a master stylist that I have been seeking for years! She knows a lot and is patient. I am very allergic to hair colors with burning and itching that can last for a couple of days. I told her upon entering and she convinced me to try an oil she had as a barrier. I felt frustrated because for years the only product that seemed to work on my hair was Joico EL-80 and she said she was unable to find it. She was so diligent she went to 5 different beauty supply stores and did further research. I was so impressed that she cared so much for her clients. I was very skeptical my vacation out of state in in two days. It is now 24 hours later and no allergic reaction! She didn't even charge me extra for extended time she needed with my hair. She knew exactly what my hair needed and talked me through the process she was going to take with it. Karen is very confident in expertise. The end result was exactly what she said it would be. Nothing less! I will follow Karen anywhere she goes!
My Pedicure/manicure was given by Julie. It was excellent and very relaxing. For the pedicure I was sitting in a massage chair the entire time and almost fell asleep. She is patient, kind, and thorough. We ran out of time due to my schedule so I had her just put polish on and she told me what she would like to do for proper nail care for the next visit so that impressed me.
I was so pampered that by the time I paid for the extra services (I had not even planned on getting before I got there) I was the most relaxed I have felt in a long time.

I am a massage therapist so I am particular about my massages, this one today with Kim was very good. I will book with her again soon. My facial with Lucy was also one of the best I've had. She used three different instruments on me that I've never experienced before, and then also did a wonderful facial massage. The salon is immaculate, lovely, quiet and serene. . . and there are complementary chocolates everywhere, in addition to the Tazo teas! I have already booked a "gift" facial and massage for my daughter this weekend! Living Social Review by Pam.
